London, Dec. 30.—The St. Peters-
burg correspoi dent of the Times re-
ports that the relations betf/een Rus-
sia and Germany are distinctly strain-
ed and that there is a possibility of
international complications rising
from the rebellion in the Baltic prov-
inces.
St. Petersburg. Dec. 30.—According
to advices received by the govern
nn-nt "the rebellion" at Moscow Is en
tering on its final stage. The satin
guerilla warfare”was continued but
on a smaller scale.
Governor General Doubasoff is act-
ing with great energy and hundreds
of members of the "drujina" are al-
ready behind the liars. The strikers
have lost heart and the workmen's
council is considering the question of
railing off the strike.
The principal danger now seems to
be t hat the "black hundred.;" will
"in. complete the work begun by the
troops and end the revolt with a hor-
rible massacre. The lower classes are
represented as enraged at the attempt
of the revolutionaries to overthrow
the emperor and even with ihe best
intentions it may be impossible for
the authorities to restrain the fury of
these classes once the opportunity is
offered them. The atiacks made on
striking railroad men at wayside sta
lions sufficiently shows the temper
of the peasant class.
Four thousand strikers marched out
of Moscow and completely destroy-
ed several miles of the railroad track
between St. Petersburg and Moscow
30 miles outside of Moscow, in order
to prevent the arrival of trains bear
ing the Semlnovsky battalion and the
trains barked 20 miles to Clyne,
whence it is understood the troops
will proceed on foot for their destina
tion.
London. — A dispatch to the Daily
Mall from St. Petersburg says that
the revolutionaries in thp Priessnaya
quarter of Moscow are negotiating for
terms of surrender with the authori
ties.
London.—The Times this moraine
prints a dispatch from Moscow dated
December 27 which says:
"If the revolutionaries could Kociirt
guns they would lie assured of vie
tory and the troops would he oblig
ed to take refuge in the Kremlin
where the governor general ami oth
er authorities have sought safety
Unfortunately the rasenal ts insldi

Kleff. Russia—The rails of the
Southwestern railway were torn up
at Sarni and two passenger trains
were wrecked. Many persons were
Injured. There are heavy patrols in
the streets of the city.
Kivno, Lithuania.—The city is un-
der martial law and the field guns
in the squares and machine guns post
ed at strategic points have overawed
the revolutionaries.
Warsaw. Russian Poland—The at-
tempt by the strikers to ston the rail
roads in Poland has no; been success-
ful and a majority of them are still
running.
Terrorist Plot.
London. Dec. 29.—The Times’ St.
Petersburg correspondent states that
a military terrorist plot has been dis
covered. Fifty arrests have been
made in connection with the discovery.

Mouth and Eyes Covered With Crusts
—Hands Pinned Down—Miraculous
Cure by Cuticura.
"When my little boy was six months
o'.d, he had eczema. The sores extend-
ed so quickly over the whole body
that we at once called in the doctor.
We then went to anothei dutLjr,
but he could not help him, and in our
despair we went to a third one. Mat-
ters became so bail that he had regu-
lar holes in his cheeks large enough
to put a finger into. The food had to
be given with a spoon, for his mouth
was covered with crusts as thick as
a finger, and whenever he opened the
mouth they began to bleed and sup-
purate, as did also his eyes. Hands,
arms, chest, and back, in short the
whole body was covered over and
over. We had no rest by day or night.
Whenever he was laid in his bed, we
had to pin his hands down; otherwise
he would scratch his face and make an
open sore. I think his face must have
itched most fearfully.
"Wo finally thought nothing could
help, and 1 had made up my mind to
send my wife with the child to Eu-
rope, hoping that the sea air might
cure him, otherwise he was to be put
under good medical care there. But,
Lord be blessed, matters came differ-
ently, and we soon saw a miracle. A
friend of ours spoke about Cuticura.
We made a trial with Cuticura Soap.
Ointment and Resolvent, and within
ten days or two weeks we noticed a
decided improvement. Just as quickly
as the sickness had appeared it also
began to disappear, and within ten
weeks the child was absolutely well,
and his skin was smooth and white
as never before. F. Hohrath, Presi-
dent of the C. L. Hohrath Company,
