Notice to all democrats in the city
of Chandler is hereby given that a
primary election will be held at the
armory room in the city of Chandlet
Thursday, March 9, 1(H):., for the pur-
pose of nominating a democratic city
ticket to be voted for at the coming
annual city election to be held on the
fourth day of April, 1905.
The polls will be open from 1 o’clock
p. m. to 7 o’clock p. m. on said 9th
day of March for the purposes of the
primary. I
For the purpose of defraying the,
Bee.ssary primary election expenses,
candidates for any office to be voted
for by the voters of the city at large
are assessed one dollar each ami can
didates for any office to be voted for
by the citizens of any ward are assess-
ed fifty cents each.
The names of all candidates to be
voted for at said primary election will
be printed on ballots to be prepared
and furnished by this committee.
Any candidate desiring to have his
name placed on such ticket is required
to tile his name with the undersigned
chairman of this committee for such
purpose by Wednesday noon. March
8, and to pay to said chairman tl.e
amount of his assessment. Any bal-
ance remaining in the hands of the
committee after the expenses of the
primary have been paid will be turned
into the general campaign fund.
