Wade Johnson, son of J. L. John-
son, was arrested Saturday night by
Officer Kennedy, on a warrant sworn
out bv J. A. Gilbert, charging as-
sault and battery. The case was set
for ten o’clock .Monday, but Gilbert
failed to appear and prosecute and
the case was dismissed by Judge
Beckerdite. Gilliert paid the costs
