Selection of a board of supervis-

STUDY URGED
OF CHILDREN'S
11031E PLAN
C J Blinn county judge said
Friday the question of discontinua-
tion of the Taylor home for boys
and the county home for girls should
be given a lot of study
Continuation of the two homes
has been criticized by the Citizens
League of Oklahoma county which
claims a saving of nearly $10000
annually would result from abolishing-
the institutions
"It's not a question of saving
motley " Judge Blinn said "so much
as it is a question of determining
what is the best thing to do for the
children It will save a few thousand
dollars they say but I can Awn
you where if you are not interested
in the welfare of the people you
can save millions of dollars"
The Sunbeam home has offered to
take the children now in the county
home for monthly for each
child compared to the $19800 pro-
vided in the county budget for the
coming year for upkeep of the two
ins t itutions
R L ready county commission-
er favorsiretention of the homes by
the county
"There have been a great many
children go through those homes" he
said Friday "and all of them have
done all right"
The question of patronage at the
homes is not involved both Judge
Blinn and Peebly said Friday point-
ing out the number of jobs at the
two institutions is very small
