REGARDLESS of the final score
there will be a good High
School game on this Cushing grid-
ion tonight Not only are the !
teams well matched but the Cush-
ing High School band will be out'
full force to play
Failure of the bard to play last
week certainly gave the grandstand
crowd a chance to find out how
much they add to a game It is
another case of not missing the
water until the well goes dry
Nice to know that it will not be
a "dry run" tonight The band
with its music its gay uniforms its
youthful and sprightly personne!
its contribution to that thing so
well expressed as 'esprit de corps''
—meaning the spirit and vivaci'y
of the whole is immeasurable and
irreplacable on a football field
HOW DO YOU suppose this game
of football got such a hold on
