The past weekend was one of
the busiest experienced in the
Pau Is Valley oil field with two
oilers including probably the
largest to (late and a gasser be-
ing completed
The Stand() lind No 1 Cashion in
NW NE SE of section 31-4N-1E in the
northeast part of the field averaged
better than 115 barrels of oil on a
three-hour test taken Sunday
With casing set at the bottom of
the hole it was perforated with 210

tni one-inch choke through tubing
the well flowed 110 Ulnas the first I
hour 113 barrels the secotkd hour and
113 barrels the third how- with an
estimated 4e)0000 cubic feet of as
daily The oil tested 43 gravity
More Artivity Espected
The production was from the Penn-
sylvania sand where turetotore the
Pennsylvania wells have been com-

pect4c1 to open up considerable drill-
ing in this section of the field The
well is on land owned by CashionJackson-Stewart
the lease being
owned by Standolind-Phillips-Pure
In the north part of the field
Edward 3 Kubat No 1 Patchell in
C NW SE of section 31-4N-1E tested
over the weekend and apparently was
making a nice well in the Pennsyl-

pipeline connections

companys No 1 Burns in section 17-
2N-2E plugged back after reaching
the Arbuckle to 3030 feet and was
completed as a gaswr This well was
wild for 60 days and apparently it is
now as strong as at the beztinning
when it had an estimated 50000000
cubic feet of gas daily
Southwest of Pants Valley in sec-
tion 24-3N-1W the Pure Oil com-
rany No 1 Weld-Longmire was drill-
ing below 4480 feet and was running
considerably lower than any of the
wells drilled in that Vicinity in recent
years
Work already has begun on the
Pure Oil company's No 1 Tetershickson-Cashion

You are the judge of whether or not your trip is
essential—and your judgment is what our govern
fluent is relying upon
Please consider these points when you think of
traveling on the railroads this summer and for the
duration:
L Your trip may take a Pullman berth or chair car
seat needed by men in uniform traveling under
orders
2s Your trip may delay war workers not in uni
form in reaching their vital jobs
a Your trip may deprive men and women in the
service of a furlough trip tovisit their homefolks
Ifyou do take a trip plan for it in advancetravel light
consider taking a box lunch to avoid delayed meals
in the diners and make up your mind to put up with
certain inconveniences and crowded conditions
WHAT ABOUT VACATION TRAVEL?
Vacations should be spread out over the year not
confined to summer months
A vacation trip should be confined to one round
trip only starting and returning on Tuesday Wed
nesday or Thursday
Travel in chair cars whenever possible and please
carry only one piece of luggage
Consult yourSanta Fe Agent
about your travel plans
You'll find his friendly
advice helpful
