The AMS TSA competed
at the sixth annual Struc-
tural Engineering Contest
at Southwestern Oklahoma
State University on Wednes-
day. November 7, 2001. In
this contest, students have
to build a 16-inch bridge
out of 20 feet of balsa wood.
The bridges are then placed
under increasing weight
until failure occurs. The
highest weight held is the
winner.

place in the contest, with
his bridge holding 160
