The First Baptist Church
of Altus will hold an Easter
Celebration Service on Sunday.
April 20 at 10:50 a.m. in the
City of Altus Auditorium,
located at 201 East Commerce
Street.
The service will include con-
gregational singing as well as
a special musical performance
by the church's choir and
instrumentalists.
The pastor will be sharing
a message from the Scriptures
about the resurrection of
Jesus Christ and the hope that
Easter holds for everyone who
accepts its message.
There will be regularly
schedule Sunday school class-
esat 9:30 a.m. in the church’s
educational buildings.
The church’s Sunday school
offers classes for people of all
ages. Everyone is invited to
participate in Sunday school at
9:30 a.m. before gathering at
the City Auditorium at 10:50
a.m. for the Easter Celebration.
There will be no early wor-
ship service due to the Easter
1 Celebration being held in the
City Auditorium.
The public is invited to
| come and join this special day
! of worship and celebration.
Childcare for children aged
three and under will be avail-
able in the church’s main build-
ing located at 300 North Main.
