Due to rain two weeks ago, the Clean Up Altus city-
wide event was reschedule for 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26,
at the Altus Rotary Center. Volunteers will meet at the Al-
tus Rotary Center across from the High School Cafeteria
on Cypress Street from 8 to 9 a.m. to register, and pick
up trash bags and safety vests. Volunteer groups will be
assigned to pick up trash and litter along Main Street,
Broadway, Falcon Road, Tamarack Road, Veterans Drive,
at the City Park, and City Reservoir. Between 11 a.m and
12 p.m. volunteers will return with trash bags full to sign
out. A roll-off will be provided by the City of Altus and
Raymond Moody of M & B Contracting.
