Perennials and Roses" at the monthly Tipton Garden ( lub met I ing
recently in the Public Service Company Civic Room.
As president, she also conducted the business meeting that
opened with reading of the Gardener's Creed. Nine members
answered roll with the highlights of their Christmas,
Leilani Frisby read minutes of the previous meeting, and Lillian
Hestand reported paying $127 in prizes to winners of the Tipton
Christmas lighting contest. Various members told about delivering
12 cheer baskets to shut-ins.
Frisby served refreshments to Hestond, Davis, Mabel Young
Lorene Wolf, Mary Robbins, Debbie Putnam, Garaldine Suiter and
Edna Minger.
Suiter will be the hostess to the Feb. 2 meeting when Young will
have the program on “Ornamental Onions.”
