The J.F. Knox family held its
annual reunion July 25 and 26
at the Altus Rotary Center with
approximately fifty people in
attendance.
Family members came from
Texas, California, Maryland and
Nebraska, as well as from
Oklahoma.
J.F. and Mary Knox came
from Loco, Indian Territory, in
the fall of 1899 and settled at a
site one mile north and two
miles east of Friendship.
Also attending the reunion
were five descendents of Callie
Knox Davis, a sister of J.F. Knox.
