Monday evening in the Fiesta
room of the Cushing hotel 'Miss
Reba McQueen president conduct-
ed the business meeting The in-
vocation was given by Mrs John-
nie Malernee Jr
Table topics were presented by
Mrs John McAulay topic mis-
tress to Mrs Leland H Doug-
las and Mrs Malernee
Serving as toastmistress for the
evening was Mrs Jim Kirkpat-
rick who presented Mrs Richard
Anderson as the lexicologist Mrs
Anderson appointed two teams to
participate in the lexicology les-
son Members taking part in the
lesson were Mrs McAtilay Mrs
Douglas and Mrs Kirkpatrick
Two guests of the club Mrs Jack
Booher and Mrs Elmer Booher
Jr also took part in the discus-
sion with Miss McQueen and Mrs
Malernee serving as captains
Mrs Kirkpatrick presented Mrs
Booher who gave a very interest-
ing book review entitled "The Mes-
sage of Jesus" by Harvie Brans-
comb Grammarian and general evalu-
ator for the evening was MrS'
Malernee with Miss McQueen serv-
ing as time keeper
