INJURED BY SHOT GUN
Chauncey Young 14 year old son of
Mrs Lizzie Storey of Cushing died
Monday morning at his home five
miles south of Cushing Ilk death
followed an accident while hunting
Sunday afternoon His arm was torn
off end his side injured by a dis-
charged shotgun
The boy and his uncle were bunt-
ing rabbits The boy started to dig
into a log with hi s gun to scare a
rabbit and the gun fell over the log
and discharged -
Funeral services and burial were
held at Quay Tuesday afternoon

Langston was broken into last Mon-
day night and $100 in merchandise
was taken Tires tubes and accesso-
ries made up the loot Most of the
stock is kept at the home of the

STATION BY CHRISTMAS
Direct radiocasting from the Okla-
homa A and M college campus will
be poqsible Christmas it is predicted
by officers of the Stillwater chapter
of Alpha Sigma Delta international
radio fraternity
With the aid of college officials
the fraternity has planned to erect
a radiocasting station in the college
auditorium and already much of the
preliminary work has been done The
station will be licensed for 250
watts though it probably will oper-
ate on 100 watts for awhile For
programs its wave length will be
215 meters
Operation of the fraternity's sta-
tion will not conflict with the radio-
casting of programs over KV00 the
new statici at Bristow by means of
the remote control station says
Bradford Knapp president of the col-
lege The president has notified
KV00 officials Of the proposed erec-
tion Of the station here and explained
to them the scope of its operation
The college will continue to use the
Bristow station also
