In Piano Festival
Several piano students of
this community are taking
part in tre annual piano fes-
tival sponsored by the Mac-
Dowell Club of Allied Arts at
Altus on Tuesday night March
4 at 8:00 pm in the Muni-
cipal Auditorium
Daily practice sessions ate
being conducted the dir-
ectors each day this week
Much practice and work goes
into the festival each year
by directors and students a-
like to make it the success
it is Previous festivals have
featured twelve pianos beinp
played at one time however
this year six more pianos are
being added Each year pro-
cads are used by the club
to award a scholarship to
some high school senior Ap-
proximately 300 students will

Promotion Feb 18th It was
a sub-district rneeting and
