REUNION PLANS
ALREADY LAID
Although the annual reunion of
the Capitol Hill High School Alum-
ni Association is nearly four months
away extensive plans already are
being made Miss Louise Holcomb
secretary-treasurer said today
The reunion is to be held April
at the school
It will include visitation of classes
during the morning an alumni
luncheon a special assembly and
baby show in the afternoon and a
banquet and dance at night
To Honor Class of '29
Date of the reunion is set near
Easter each year so that recent
graduates now attending colleges
and universities may be present
during vacations The association
numbers More than 2000 members
Following a custom established
several years ago the class of 1929--
those graduates who have been away
from the school a decade—will be
honored
In addition to the reunion activi-
ties the association is planning a
play to be given early in February
at the high school auditorium:
Funds will be used to continue the
association's student aid program

streets and highways of New York
City and its environs by 1950 and
automobile registration will show a
slight increase over its present aver-
age to population the Regional Plan
Association here has predicted
The association prophesied that
In the area roughly described as a
radius of 50 miles from New York's
City Hall there would be 2878800
mothr cars and a population of
15355000
This compares with a registration
last year of 2163650 cars and as-
sumes a continued slowing down in
the rate of population growth In
1937 the area showed one auto-
mobile for each 59 persons By
1950 this ratio wili be one vehicle
or each 53 persons the association
