LINDEN. N. J. ( - Life
is ducky again in the house-
hold of Joseph Gordon now
that Lucky is back.
Lucky, the Gordons' fat,
friendly pet duck, waddled
out of the back yard Tues-
day. Fearful lest he wind up
in a cooking pot, Mrs. Gor-
don called police, who
searched the neighborhood.
But it turned out no foul
play was involved. A local
boy had found Lucky in the
street. He brought the white
duck to his mother and the
mother took it to a farm.
The farmer called the Gor-
dons Wednesday and soon
Lucky was home, being fed
by the Gordon children —
Neil, 5, Gail, 14, and Ricky,
16.
