Moran Gives Up
John C. Moran has conceded defeat to William C.
Kessler after a recount of only 12 of the 54 precincts in
Oklahoma City’s Ward 1 city council race.
Moran, the Incumbent, stopped the proceedings
Thursday, saying he is satisfied retabulation of auto-
matic voting machines in other precincts wouldn't alter
the outcome.
He lost by 125 votes in Tuesday's election.
