Burglary Term Assessed
Phillip DeWayne Bredy, convicted burglar, was sen-
tenced Friday to three years in the McAlester peni-
tentiary. • • •
Bredy, who pleaded guilty to the March 22 bur-
glary of the Mike Bryaa Office Supply Co., 328 SW 25,
was sentenced by District Judge W. R. Wallace Jr.
Bredy’s term will extend his total prison time to
seven years, William N. Mounger, assistant county at-
torney, said.
Bredy recently was ordered to McAlester for four
years on revocation of an earlier suspended sentence,
and Mounger said the two terms are to run consecu-
tively.

Moran Gives Up •
Joha C. Moran has conceded defeat to William C.
Kessler after a recount of only 12 of the 54 precincts in
Oklahoma City’s Ward 1 city council race.
Moran, the incumbent, stopped the proceedings
Thursday, saying he is satisfied retabulation of auto-
matic voting machines in other precincts wouldn't alter
the outcome.
He lost by 125 votes in Tueday’s election.
