Though Switzerland is not a
member of the common mar-
ket. its bankers and businessmen
feel this new economic bloc is
bound to prove profitable to all
business within its boundaries.
Eurit aims to buy and sell, for
the benefit of its clients, top
raw material and industrial
shares in companies in the com-
mon market countries.
Since early January when it
started operations, Eurit has
made use of the facilities grant-
ed by the De Gaulle regime to
foreign investors which allow
them to buy shares on the Paris
market. It has also acquired
quite a number of shares in
France's top oil concern, the
Compagnie Francaise des Pet-
roles. Compagnie has important
oil holdings in Iraq and the Sa-
