police to report an attempted rob-
bery, ended up in jail Thursday
on a charge of soliciting for im-
moral purposes.
Jailed wss Anthony John Baran-
ske, of 109 NE 2, who officers
said called police and said two
boys attempted to rob him in his
apartment.
Also jailed were two 16-year-old
boys who told officers Baranske in-
vited them to his apartment to
drink a beer. Officers said one
boy told them the man made an
improper suggestion to him.
