barrels to a total of 150,000 barrels
daily for the remainder of April and
the month of May. by an order issued
late Monday afternoon by the state
corporation commiasion.
The new order is effective as of

Julian and Bolling sat in court
with C. C. Boren. also under charges
in connection with the alleged kid-
naping. M. J. Raymond, Laredo at-
torney, represented him.
Raymond. District Attorney John
Valia, Robert Lee Bobbitt, special
prosecutor in the case and former as-
sistant attorney genera) of Texas, and
Ed Mullally, assistant district attor-
ney. went Into conference non after
court opened. When their conference
was concluded. Raymond asked Julian
to step forward.
Oficers Guard Bening
The oil man walked jauntily for-
ward and told the court be deaired to
plead guilty to the charge of unlaw-
fully carrying a weapon When his
plea had been accepted and the fine
imposed, the court ordered a recess
until afternoon.
Bolling sat outride the bar, flanked
by two officers.
Clay Mann, indicted on charges of
unlawfully carrying a weapon in con-
nection with the alleged kinaping,
was in court with his attorney. Louis
J. Wardlow of Fort Worth, but did
not go near Julian. his former em-
ployer, or apeak to him.
Arrested in Hotet
District Attorney Valis said he
would prosecute Julian on the kidnap-
ing charge under a law just passed
by the state legislature making that
offense punishable by death. The
minimum penalty is five years im-
prisonment.
Raymond said he did not know if
he would ask*for a continuance in the
other cases. The general impression
however, was that the defense would
try to advoid a trial at thia time.
