ment of a municipal flying field in j
^Pittsburgh took another forward step
with the announcement today that the
Allegheny county commissioners and
city council entered into an agree-
ment for joint condemnation proceed-
ings against a forty-three-acre tract
for the purpose.
The field will be called the Rodgers
field in honor Of Galbraith Perry
Rodgera, a Pittsburgher who wap the
first aviator to fly across the conti-
