A Scout’s honor is to be trusted. If he were to
violate his honor by telling a lie, cheating, or not
doing a given task entrusted to his honor, he
is not being a true Scout!
He is polite to all especially to women, children,
old people, and the weak and helpless. He must
not take pay for being helpful or courteous. He
shows appreciation.

He is reverent toward God, faithful in his relig-
ious duties, respects the convictions of others in
matters of custom and religion. He serves God
in his everyday actions.
He is a friend to all and a brother to every other
Scout. He meets people with a sincere smile on
his face and an outstretched hand. His friendli-
ness is contagious.
