The adaptability of wrought iron to furniture is well demon-
strated in the group shown above. The manufacturer has created
a contemporary free-form appearance by molding woven mesh
to the desired contour and welding to a wrought iron frame.
In demand as a poolside or patio group, its comfort and ap-
pearance are complimented by outdoor cushions. .

and two off-setting factors prompt
OSU officials to expect about the
same number of high school grad-
uates to participate as last year's
record crop.
This summer there will be 35 of
the two-day clinics, required of all
new OSU freshmen, said Dr. Charles
E. Larsen, director of the OSU
Counseling Services.
The number of high school grad-
uates is down about 1,450 in the state
this year, but a larger percentage of
graduates go to college each year so
the 1966 clinic total is expected to
be near that of last year, he said.
In 1965, 4.352 high school graduates
attended the clinics, an increase of
about 30 percent over the previous
year.
The students get a two-day pre-
taste of college life, meet university
officials and pre-enroll for the fall
semester reserving the classes and
class meeting hours of their choice.

“Livestock exhibits at the State
Fair of Oklahoma have more than
doubled in the past five years,''
according to fair manager Sandy
Saunders, "and we are glad to
make improvements which will
provide some of the best livestock
show facilities in the nation.
“Public interest in livestock has
also grown, and with the improve-
ments which the fair has made,
fairgoers are visiting the livestock
shows in increasing numbers,"
Saunders said.
New equipment for the grooming
of cattle hns placed heavy de-
mands on electrical service in the
livestock complex, according to
Saunders. New hair dryers, elec-
trie brushes, fans, and clippers all
are in wide use by exhibitors who
fit and groom the nation's best
livestock.
More than 3,000 head of prize
livestock and horses are exhibited
at the1 annual fair. Expected this
year are 600 head of beef cattle,
600 dairy cattle, 1,000 head of
swine, 500 sheep, and more than
500 horses during the nine-day ex-
position.
