It looks like it will be awhile before full surgical
procedures return to Grady Memorial, but en ■
copies could be just around the corner.
Grady Memorial CEO Warren Keene Spellman
said a plan of corrections is in its second draft that
if approved, will allow the hospital to repurpose an
area for endoscopies.
"This will make a lot of our patients happy. he
said.
Should the state department of health approve
the plan, Spellman said it should take no more
than 60 days to complete the construction.
"The only tricky part is we have to use hollow
steel walls, since wood is flammable Spellman
