Letter to the Editor
No jobs in town
I am appalled at the crossroads this town has
come to. Most of our high-paying jobs have left
town, and none are coming in. The only high-paying
jobs that are left want more experience than I have
years out of high school! This is ludicrous! The City
Council is doing nothing about it(they prefer to
make the city look nice and bury their beads in the
sand), the local business owners are in a panic(all
the experienced workers have gone to Oklahoma
City), and we in the minimum-wage world are stuck
there.
What a sorry state of affairs!!!
