McAdoo said he had pointed a gun
at Keller and pulled the trigger
about 20 times and it had never
bothered her before.
McAdoo also reportedly told
Real he had been hunting a few
hours before the shooting and that
he had taken shells from a safe and
reloaded the gun himself after he
returned from hunting.
Real also testified that McAdoo
during the interview, first saying
the shotgun barrell was four to five
feet from Keller’s head and then
saying it could have been as close
as a foot away.
McAdoo was bound over on the
charge of murder in the first
degree. Bond was again denied,
and the arraignment is scheduled
for April 12 at 1:30 p.m.
The only person to take the stand
at Friday’s hearing was 15-year
veteran OSBI Agent David Real.
He testified that when he inter-
viewed McAdoo on the night of
Dec. 8. 2006, he read McAdoo the
Miranda Warning and McAdoo
indicated that he understood his
rights and then waived his right to
have an attorney present.
Real testified that, during a 3-

Nearly 750 artists - mostly high schoolers - from across Oklahoma converged on the
USAO campus last spring for the annual Montmartre Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival. This
year's competition is April 5, one of three big events planned that day at USAO. Besides
the Scholastic Meet, the all-day Droverstock music and activities festival promises lots of
fun. Admission is free and open to the public. Shown here are students from Central Jr.

Live music, vivid chalk art and academic
competitions culminate in the largest festival
of the year for the University of Science and
Arts of Oklahoma. On April 5, USAO will
devote the day to the annual Spring Triad, a
combination of the Montmartre Chalk Art
Festival, Droverstock music festival and the
Scholastic Meet.

The Chickasha Antique Auto Club has officially trans-
ferred ownership of the Rock Island Depot and associated
buildings to the Chickasha Municipal Authority.
During a brief ceremony at the Rock Island Depot, the
transfer of the title was acknowledged.
"The transfer completes the club s depot restoration
project, which began over 20 years ago,” said club mem-
ber Bud Andrus.
In 1985, the Chickasha Antique Auto Club purchased the
depot property from the Oklahoma Railroad Commission.
After the depot was secured and the window replacement
complete, the club restored the nearby Chickasha Milling
Company office which became the club’s new home. Using
proceeds from its spring and fall swap meets, the club fund-
ed the 26 percent matching share necessary to secure a fed-
eral grant to restore the depot to its original grandeur of
1911, the year it was opened.
The Chickasha Antique Auto Club will continue to make
the depot its headquarters and will open a Depot Museum in
the main lobby. The museum will be open Monday. Wednes-
day and Friday each week between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
