She had lived most of her life in Oklahoma,
including Norman, Frederick and Lawton before
moving to Chickasha in February of 1979.
She was a graduate of Oklahoma University
and taught music at Lincoln Elementry School in
Chickasha.
Carmichael was a member of College Heights
Baptist Church. OMEA. MENC. OEA, Chick-
asha Teachers and National Kodaly Teachers.
She is survived by: her husband T. Roy
Carmichael of the home in Chickasha; 2 sons.
Tom Carmichael and his wife Shannon of Seattle,
Washington, Bill Carmichael and his wife Deanne
of Dallas, TX; I grandson: Tristan Carmichael of
Seattle, Wash.; her parents: Wayne and Peggy
Meaders of Tulsa Okla.; I brother: Jerry Meaders
and his wife Judy of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one
sister: Jeannie Wilson and husband Eddie of
Tulsa; several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Chick-
asha Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier
Funeral Home. Donations may be made to:
"Restoring the Glory,” College Heights Baptist
Church, P.O. Box 357. Chickasha OK. 73023.

day. Jan 11 , 2001 , in the Ferguson Funeral Home
Chapel
Willard Clay Looney was born Aug. 23, 1913,
in Gracemont. I le died on Sunday, Jan. 7,2001, in
Chickasha.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under
the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Ellen Louise Davis, 78, of
Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday,
January 10. 2001, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb
Chapel with Rev. Richard Zimmer officiating and
Blake and Cliff assisting.
Soloist will be Rhonda Zimmer. Pallbearers
will be Bradley Zimmer. Chad Zimmer. Bill Tad-
lock, Charles Tadlock, Wayne Cook and David
Davis.
Interment will be in the Marlow Cemetery.

Ellen Louise Davis was born February 7, 1922, Ir
in Blair. Oklahoma, to Henry Beish and Mattie
(Carter) Beish She died Saturday. January 6.
2001, in the Shanoan Springs Nursing Center in
Chickasha.
She married Clifford Davis, June 15, 1938 in
Frederick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death
July 20. 1999.
Mrs. Davis was a housewife and a member of
the College Heights Baptist Church She lived in
Chickasha for 5 years, and was a former resident
of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Survivors include: 3 sons Meldon Davis and
wife Janice of Phoenix, AZ; Kenneth Davis and
wife Karen of Bristow, OK. and Ray Davis of
Phoenix, AZ; 3 daughters: Ellen Gatliff and hus-
band Frank of Chickasha OK. Helen Pack and
husband Melvin of Phoenix, AZ. and LaVon
Stewart and husband Roy of Phoenix, AZ; 18
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
