Thomas William Baker was
born Feb. 26, 1980, in Wichita
Falls, Texas, the son of Tommy
Baker and Stephanie Erwin
Baker. He died Saturday
morning Aug. 23, 1997, in
Blanchard, Okla., as the result of
an auto accident.
Thomas lived in Graham,
Texas until he was two years
old, then he and his family
moved to Tuttle, Okla., where
he participated in baseball,
soccer and was active in the
youth group at the Methodist
Church.
When Thomas was eight years
old he moved with his mother
and two sisters to Chickasha and
attended the Chickasha Public
Schools where he was currently a
senior at Chickasha High School.
During his junior year Thomas
became employed part time
with Dunns Food Center, where
he was currently employed. He
was active in baseball, football,
basketball and soccer through out
his school years.
He was a member of the
Epworth United Methodist
Church.
Thomas was preceded in
death by both paternal
grandparents, Bill and Barbara
Baker and his great grandmother,
Orlie L. Erwin.
Survivors include his mother,
Stephanie, of the home; his father
Tommy Baker, of Graham,
Texas; two sisters, Jaimie and
Jordan Baker, of Chickasha;
maternal grandparents. Bill and
Ann Erwin, of Chickasha; great
grandfather, R.W. Erwin; eight
uncles and aunts, eight cousins
and many friends.
Interment will be in the
Fairlawn Cemetery under the
direction of Ferguson Funeral
