Martin lived in Chickasha from
1927 until 1940, moving to the
Rush Springs area. In 1954 she
returned to Chickasha and
moved to Norman in 1963. She
had lived in Norman until her
time of death.
She was also preceded in death
by her parents, two brothers, two
sisters.
Survivors include one son, El
ton Martin of Norman; four
daughters, Lillie Mae Jones of
Amber, Ora Gilmore of Noble,
Mozella Martin and Barbara
Barker, both of Norman; three
sisters, Effie Davis, Lula Bell
Peterman, both of Norman, Lot-
tie Davis of Melrose, N.M.; 16
grandchildren and 22 great
grandchildren.
Interment will be in Rose Hill
Cemetery under the direction of
Brown-Binyon Funeral Home.
The family will meet at 1309
So. 9th in Chickasha.

Duncan, will be at 10 a.m. Satur-
day, Aug. 29, 1987, in Emmanuel
Baptist Church, Duncan.
He was bom Dec. 25, 1922, in
Ninnekah and died Aug. 25,1987,
in an Oklahoma City Hospital fol-
lowing a short illness.
He married Bessie R. Little on
Feb. 9,1946, in Duncan.
He was a veteran of World War
II serving in the U.S. Army. He
retired from Sun Oil Company
after 36 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of
the home; by four sons, Gary
Hart of Duncan, Dan Hart of
Jenks, Steve Hart of Enid,
Randy Hart of Muskogee; one
brother, Floyd Hart of Mus-
kogee; two sisters, Roberta
Spencer of Ninnekah, and Velma
Mark of Lubbock, Texas; and 11
grandchildren.
Burial will be in Duncan City
Cemetery under the direction of
Dan Grantham Funeral Home of
Duncan.

He was bom Aug. 14, 1927, at
Walters, and died Tuesday, Aug.
25,1967, at the home following a
sudden illness.
He had lived in Marlow for 18
years and was a driller. He was

Ann Davis was held on Monday,
Aug. 24, 1987, in Rose HUI Cem
etery. Rev. Dennis Goskey of the
First Baptist Church conducted
the service.
Julia Ann Kelly Davis was
born in Sterling on June 11,1902,
and died in Tulsa on Aug. 21,
1987.
She married Hubert O. Davis
on May 27,1921, at the Methodist
Parsonage in Chickasha. He
preceded her in death in 1965.
Hubert and Julia lived in
Chickasha for many years when
Hubert served Grady County as
County Treasurer.
Survivors include one daugh-
ter, Wanda Jean Emory of Tu-
lsa; three grandchildren, Lee
Emory, Washington, D.C., Bar-
bara Swyden. Spring, Texas,
Laura Wilson, Tulsa; four great
grandchildren; two sisters,
Agnes Reece and Frances Bur
row of Oklahoma City; two
nieces, Christene Davis Smith of
Duncan and Neysa Davis of
Chickasha.
One son, Billy, died as the re-
sult of a swimming accident at
Shannon Springs on May 20,1938.
Moore Funeral Home of Tulsa
was in charge of arrangements.

She married Daniel H. Mc-
Connell on Aug. 5,1927, in Chick-
asha who preceded her in death
on April 23, 1939. She later mar
ried Pearl M. Martin on March 1,
1944, in Rush Springs who pre-
ceded her in death on March 16,
1963.
Mrs. Martin moved with her
family to Cloves, N.M., when she
was 18 months old. She returned
to Oklahoma when she was nine
years old, living in the Naples
and Tabler communities. Mrs.

colleges in Springfield, Mo., and
Aurora, Mo., Oklahoma City $
University and Oklahoma State
University, specializing in jour- 5
nalism.
He worked over 50 years in the 3
publishing business throughout 3
the state, including the El Reno 3
newspaper. He was publisher of 3
the Tuttle and Minco news
papers for 35 years. During 25 of 2
these years he also ranched \
cattle. 98
He was a member of the 3
Oklahoma Cowboy Hall of
Fame, the Tuttle Masonic Lodge
405 for 57 years, the Oklahoma >
Press Association, and various 3
other civic organizations in 3
Minco and Tuttle.
He was a member of the Tuttle ;
Christian Church for ap-
proxm iately 40 years.
He married Betty Chilton on 3
June 8, 1974, in Tuttle Christian
Church.
Survivors include his wife Be-
tty of the home in Tuttle; his sis- 5
ter, Ruth Casida; two stepsons,
Robert J. Hanigar Jr. and Steven
