In his sentencing Monday he im-

Chandler expressed the belief Tues-
day that If the known and persist-
ent moonshine whisky makers could
be Induced to go to place "like West
Texas" where there are no facili-
ties for making moonshine, he could
save the government *100.000.
He wm emphasising that he did
not pick on West Texas particu-
larly but simply wm using that sec-
tion of the nation m an illustra-
tion of his point that moonshiners
around here can earn good wages
in such places and cannot make
moonshine whisky.
He pointed there to no wood there
tor fires under the atlBa and the
water is not usable for making good
moonshine "As a matter of fact I
have sentenced the prisoners end
that to ail." he said Tueaday.
