side the basketball squad who
would like to address the com-
mittee,” Adams said. "We feel
that they have things to say that
are quite pertinent.”
"They are trying to relegate
this issue to the suspension at
Centenary,” Adams said, refer-
ring to MacLeod’s temporary
suspension of six Black athletes
who were charged with coming
in late the night before the
team’s December 2 encounter
with Centenary at Shreveport
La.
"We think the entire athletic
department should be investigat-
ed,” Adams said.

before pre-enrollment for the fall
1969 semester begins. They plan
to publish it in paperback form
with a charge to cover the print-
ing and computers used in pro-
ducing the evaluation.
People are still needed to help
with the evaluation, Miss KLaus-
ner said. Students majoring in
methods or statistics are needed
to help evaluate the process
used for this evaluation. Typists,
keypunchers and students to help
analyze the written portions of
the forms are also needed.
Special Instructors
The committee also pointed out
that they had been wrong in
stating no special instructors
should be included in the eval-
uation. They urged students who
have a special instructor with a
masters degree in the field he is
teaching to fill out the evaluation
form.
Special evaluation sheets with
questions concerning the number
of tests, types of books and as-
signments and the general man-
ner of teaching have also been
sent in letters to all professors.
The committee in charge of dis-
tribution and collection of the stu-
dent forms stated that they had
gotten a good response from the
professors, in the week that the
letters have been out 70 profess-
ors had filled them out and re-
turned them.
They asked that these sheets
be returned by Dec. 20 if possi-
ble and that the name of the pro-
fessor and the subject taught
would be included.

planned to talk only to the bas-
ketball squad members and “we
will invite Coach MacLeod to
talk to us if he desires.”
MacLeod scheduled interviews
for the basketball players to
meet with the committee, Ohm
said.
"He submitted a list of times
to the players and let them sign
up,” Ohm said.
"Each interview has been run-
ning from half an hour to three-
fourths of an hour,” he said,
“which means that our commit-
tee achieved at least one of its
goals, which is to have open com-
munication with the basketball
squad.”
Sterlin Adams. Memphis,
Tenn., graduate students, and
president of the Afro-American
Student Union which first level-
ed charges against MacLeod and
the athletic department, said he
felt the investigation was incom-
plete.
“There are several people out-
aircraft from Tinker, has become
adopted Norman as his hometown.
"I go back twice a year to see my parents, but I always get
anxious to come home,” he said.
By Mexican law, Heiligmann is still a citizen of Mexico, and is
still a reserve officer in the Mexican Air Corps, but he is considering
seeking a commission in the U.S. Air Force after graduation.
