107 to run in today's election
By RANDY SPLAINGARD
Major Staff Writer
A total of 107 students are
candidates in today ’s elections to
fill 27 Student Congress seats,
Bruce Hollis, Election Board
chairman, said late Tuesday.
The number was lowered from
109 when Deana Jo Harragarra.
Yukon junior, asked her named
be removed from the Walker
Tower ballot, and Fritz Aurin,
Fort Worth, Tex. junior, with-
drew from the Greek race.
Ms. Harragarra’s withdrawal
caused the Election Board ad-
ditional expense Tuesday, Hollis
said.
"Sie was the only person who
Kyle's is a bright world
difficulties because he hadn’t
specialized in one area.
He said he would like to return
to OCLA, get a teaching
certificate and teach art at the
elementary or high school level.
"Ideally, I would like to
illustrate children's novels,"
