months has purchased a job printing
plant in Blackwell His shop the
Schriver Press was opened on Novem-
ber 12 For several years Schriver
worked for the Commercial Press at

Five free lectures on beauty sub-
jects recently were given in Muskogee
by Mrs Ida Chernoff under the aus-
pices of the Muskogee Phoenix and
Times-Democrat Mrs Chernoff’s lec-
tures instructed women in physical
beauty self-development of personali-
ty and charm She gave a similar se-
ries in Muskogee one year ago for the
Phoenix and Times-Democrat
The collection of an appreciation
fund for the widow of Charles Camp-
bell a policeman slain in the perform-
ance of his duty recently was spon-
sored by the Holdenville Daily News
Twenty per cent of the gross receipts
from a page of ads was contributed by
the News to the fund Tom R Phillips

Charles H Bishop who was an early-
day printer in Oklahoma has for
