where children are playing. Cords
should be checked for fraying. Exten-
sion cords should never be used with a
space heater.

equipped with kill switches that auto-
matically activate when the heater is

should be checked for build-up, cracks,
and bird nests. If they are pretty dirty, a
chimney sweep should clean them. Fire
