NOTES OF TH4k GfisME
Referee Delany was in the play
-almost as much as the men When
be blew his whistle be generally
either saw the ball or had his hands
- on it
No one can kick that we didn't
get a square deal except on the
gate ticket proposition Common
courtesy ought to have suggested
to the Kansas men the fact that it
would have been a big help toward
the good feeling between the two
schools if they had turned one sec-
tion of the bleachers over to us on
the payment of one gate fee instead
of trying to get some one inside
- and then selling them a seat Most
places outside of a street fair one
is entitled to a seat on the payment
of an admittance fee
Yes honesty is the best policy
even in public office
TIVLES OF THsE TRIP
The party of rooters that went
up to support the team Saturday
left here on Friday afternoon and
arrived at Lawerence Saturday

night to return The train each
way was about an hour late but no
one kicked about this One of the
cars on the way up ran out of gas
but still no kick when several
couple found that the only light in
the car was to be that of a small
candle Monroe and Hudson met
us at the train Allmost all went
out to see the University in the
morning and then to the game in the
afternoon One complaint is the
hill its too much work to climb it
twice a day
The girls all say that the Chap-
eron was the best they ever had
A smaller addition of the Walker
family than the one that registered
here a year ago took the trip with
us Eck Schramm ann Prof Carey
