Title VII Saturday at West Junior High School. Everyone
there took part. The only regret is, there were only a few
parents there I would like to remind the parents of the
Muskogee area, don’t wait until your child is in trouble before
vou make an appointment with his teachers to talk with them
and let them know wnat type of personality your child has,
some of his habits, don’t be ashamed to tell his hobbies, or his
short comings, ask the teacher's help in trying to make your
child a better child at home, a better student at school, a better
friend to his buddies, a better brother to his siblings at home,
have a better attitude toward all of his peers, establish a good
rapport with vour own child and help him to understand that
you want him to become a better all around person.
I^t us take a more positive attitude toward the teachers,
administrators, when we fulfill our appointments with them.
Teachers, let us have the same positive attitude when talking
to the parents concerning their children. When there is a need
for a conference concerning your child, clear the way properly
so you will receive a cordial welcome.
Parents, also encourage your children to be good achievers.
Not only in sports, but in Reading, Writing and Arithmetic.
They are all going to be citizens, voting citizens, residents of
some community, and they will have to be in the know to
make it in this life.
Children, if any of you read this column, you will have to
become wide awake, if you are to achieve in this world. You Mr. Julius L. Hibler. who is referred to by his peer group Mr. Hibler is a graduate from the Purple and White of special problems are treated with unusual understanding and
