ient affordable and ultra-available passenger rail con-
nections between metropolitan regions in the U.S
That s why the recent Tulsa Citv Council vote, as one,
to tell CHdahoma transportation authorities not to sell
off a potential rail link between Oklahoma City and
lulsa was a progressive, thoughtful action Mayor
LX’wev Bartlett s resistance and his veto of this resolu-
tion is retrograde and thoughtless it may also be an ar-
tifact of a feckless attachment to doing thinks in a
dogmatic, ahistoncal fashion
