selections by the Young Ladies
Auxiliary which has “worked as a
team” to plan the event, Myers
said. To insure that all senior
regional citizens in the church can attend
whether financially able to buy
tickets or not, the brothers of the
church have made donations and
the auxiliary members have
“adopted” some of them as their
parents for the evening.
Guest speaker for the occasion
will be Mrs. Dorothy Bradshaw of
Dallas, Texas. An active church
worker, wife of an elder and a
mother herself, Mrs. Bradshaw was
chosen because she exemplifies the
qualities desired in the mothers and
wives of the church, Myers said.
Brother Troy Daniels, the new
pastor of the church assumed his
duties last month. For more in-
