Tucker— Humphrey Wedded
In Beautiful Ceremony
One of the mosi beautiful of Sept-
ember weddings was that of Miss Fran-
ce Tucker of Oklahoma City to Mr
Fred Eugene Humphrey also of Okla-
homa City which was an event to Sun-
day The wedding ceremony was read
by Rev C R Kidd pastor of the Ep-
worth Methodist church of Oklahoma
City
Palms tall baskets of yellow chry-
santhemums and floor candelebras
Learing lighted tapers formed a very
elfective background for the ceremony
The bride was charming in a shell
uink lace dress trimmed with velvet
maline and rhynestone ornaments and
wore a pink maline hat trimmed in
(rushed velvet She carried a shower
bouquet of sweetheart roses and lilies
of the valley
Miss Bess Beverlin of Wichita Kans
was the maid of honor while Miss Mar-
garet Lain and Miss Dola Pacey of Hol-
rtenville were bridesmaids Mr Walter
French of Tonkawa was best man
Mrs Humphrey Is the daughter of
Mr and Mrs J Milton Tucker of Ok-
lahoma City She attended the Unl-
verslty of Oklahoma where she is a
iiiember of Alpha Chi Omega sorority
Mr Humphrey is the son of Mr and
Mrs A E Humphrey of Oklahoma
City and received his degree from the
school of business in the university
last June He was announcer from the
university broadcasting station WNAD

Intoxication And Speeding Arrests
Enrich Norman's Treasury By
Nearly $70 On Monday
The city treasurer was increased Cl
dollars Monday when the Norman po-
lice force collected that amount in lines
Of the ten arrests made three were lor
intoxication or for the possession ol in-
toxicating liquor while four were for
speeding one ior running a stop-sign
and another for driving a taxi without
a city lincense tag
G C White charged with speeding
at the rate of 40 miles per hour on
north Porter in the school zone did not
appear in court and his bond lor $10
was forfeited
This is the largest sum collected
