SALT! SALT! SALT !
No it was not Salt that made
the gang threaten the people
we buy from It Was 1 Black
Pepper 25c per pound Flour at
$175 per sack Potatoes 25c less
per bushel Coffee at 30c when
they had to get 60 cents for the
same grade Salt was only an
excuse to rid the town of our
store '
Then they will have the good
old days of profiteering again
Should this' price cutting war
break us they will be able again
to pay 43c for a block of salt
and sell it for 75c making 32c
on every block
A fellow was heard to re-
mark that we had to be put out
of business if it cost thousands
Well folks it will not cost them
anything for once we are gone
prices will go up then you will
pay the bill'
Well if you can’t help dont
help the profiteer Just stay
where you are and you will see
one Heluva fight

better work this many failed
to qualify ’ Extra work and
subjects will be necessary for
these students to make up these
subjects and we sincerely hope
that they will see it their duty
not only to themselves but to
the standards of the school to
aim and make higher grades
