Mrs. Dorothy Moser, di-
rector of the Comanche
Housing Authority, said
the low-rent housing proj-
ect has been approved by
an Inspector of the U.S.
Department of Housing
and Urban Development
The city now is blacktop-
ping streets in the housing
area and refrigerators and
stoves for the units must
be installed before occu-
pancy.
The project includes 36
rental units and a commu-
nity building. Mrs. Moser’s
office will be in the com-
munity building.
The project, in the north-
west section of Comanche
includes 30 units for senior
citizens and six for low-in-
come families.
Rent will start at $30 a
month. Most of the units
are one and two bedroom
and six have three bed-
rooms.

unfurnished, but will in-
clude electric refrigerators
and gas cook stoves,

on federal aid funds fbr

Mississippi.
Finch acknowledged,
however, that his depart-
ment has "suggested to
