FACULTY AND STUDENTS BIBLE WOMAN’S TRAINING SCHOOL, 1925
Another step forward was made when the Alumnae Association
became a fully organized body with great working plans for the com-
ing year. Twenty-seven of the former graduates gathered together
with us for four days, during which time many programs were held,
many plans for the organization laid and all in all a foundation for
service made secure.
We had with us Miss Desideria Rebollado of Amarao, Ilocos Sur,
a graduate from the first class, who is still serving most faithfully.
What an inspiration she was to our younger graduates, yes to even
the missionaries. Thirteen years of faithful service, who can value
it? We commend her to His care and keeping and pray that others
may lead on in her footsteps.
At the beginning of the school year we took over the work of the
Primary department of the local church, holding full responsibility
for it. The members of the senior class have served as teachers while
Miss de Vera a member of the faculty has been the superintendent.
The interest and spirit have been good, home to home visitation has
been a prominent feature of the work, the department has been more
fully equipped while the attendance has doubled and all in all a good
work has been done.
With the strengthening of the Pangasinan and English speaking
ability of the school, we have been able to enter into Community
service more fully. We stand a hundred percent in membership in
both the Red Cross and the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union
organizations, and have taken active part in all their programs or
their efforts along any line thru out the year. Likewise we have
given of such help as was possible in any effort made by the Camp
Fire girls in their special benefit programs. In all Sunday School
and Epworth League work the school and especially the Filipina
