Twenty-nine at Sunday school last
Sunday. Next Sunday is the rally at
Bethel Will be union Sunday school
there in the forenoon. Everyone wel-
come.
Mr. and Mrs. George Bunney and
children apent Sunday at the J. J-
Fowler home.
Mrs. Rosa Johnson spent Saturday
night and Sunday in Stillwater, the
guest of Mrs. Borden.
Clarence Furman spent Saturday
night and Sunday with his parents,
the O. P. Furmans.
Mrs. S. M. Ross received word
Saturday night that her father, Mr.
Lahman, had passed away very sud-
denly. We as a community extend
our sympathy to the family.
Those who spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Madison were his
parents, the Henry Madisons; Mr.
and Mrs. Wayne Prater, Mr. and Mrs.
Coy Madison and baby.
Mrs. John Ritchey and daughter,
Pauline, spent Sunday afternoon in
Stillwater, the guests of a friend,
Mrs. Miller, and daughter.
Mrs. Bill Cottongim and son, Bil-
lie Joe, spent Sunday afternoon with
Mrs. Can Cawood.
Mrs. Elsie Klingman went to Guth-
rie Sunday to visit with her father
and sister, returning home Monday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Swart and son,
Bill, called at the Henry Madison
home Sunday morning to see the
pond the Madison boys had built.
Oscar Seeliger and Joe Willman
made a business trip to Coyle Tues-
day evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Burk, and
Mrs. Dora Burk and family spent
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Versa!
Madison.
Gertrude and Elvin Powers spent
Thursday night and Friday at the
Van Lucas home.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Thomason
ate Sunday dinner at the parental, J.
A. Swart, home, and in the afternoon
attended the singing convention in
Stillwater.
Charlie Holzer and children called
at the Clarence Madison home Sun-
day morning.

Joe Carrier home. Thelma and Beu-
lah Ellington spent the afternoon
there. Mrs. Joe Carrier and Miss
Maxine Allen called in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Pritchett spent
Sunday with Mr. and Mr». Frank
Adams and children.
Callers at the home of Mrs. Powell
Tuesday morning were T. J. Elling-
ton and son, William; Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Dorman.
A large crowd attended young peo-
ple’s meeting at Battleridge Wednes-
day night.
Henry Ellington called on his un-
cle, T. J. Ellington, Tuesday after-
noon.
Raymond and Zella Kizer spent
Sunday with Mrs. Powell and Ora
Kizer.
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Attebery were
in Yale Thursday morning on busi-
ness.
T. J. Ellington called on Joe Brad-
ley, Ben Shipley and Clarence Craig
one day last week.
The Potlicker club met Thursday
with Mrs. T. J. Ellington with five
members present ail day, and one in
the afternoon. Those present were
Mrs. Powell, Mrs. E. L Davis, Mrs.
, Carl Honeyman and two little sons,
i Mrs. I. N. Taulinan, Mrs. Ed Taul-
man and baby, and Mrs. J. J. Atte-
berry in the afternoon.
Mirs Dortha Adams spent Sunday
afternoon with the Misses Thelma
and Beulah Ellington.
A farewell party was given Wed-
nesday night, February 20. in honor
of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Johnston and
children, who have moved to Yale
the past week. Games were played,
after which refreshmenets of sand-
wiches, cake, fruit salad and cocoa
were served. We wish the Johnston
family much joy in their new home.
J. N. Ellington spent the weekend
with his brother and family, the T.
J. Ellingtons.
Sunday afternoon was quite stormy
as it rained and hailed quite a bit,
after which the wind blew.
FAIRPLAINS
We had quite a cold spell Sunday
night and Monday. Sunday afternoon
the wind blew, it rained a shower,
then Moniday morning it snowed
pretty heavily for a while.

Edgar Davis and family moved to
the Woodson Davis place, which was
vacated by the Dickerson family.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillips of Coyle
were visitors at the home of Mrs.
Nettie Waller.
Mr. and Mrs. Cleason Goin visited
at the Russell Brown home Wednes-
day evening.
Visitors at the John Goin home
were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lake and
son, Earl; Mr. and Mrs. Cleason
Goin, and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Meeker.
Mrs. C. A. Meeker is able to be up
and around, after a siege of measles.
