That’s going to be one of my

Monday, Mrs. Ralph Gass of
Bristow was <n Kiefer to take
care of things for her brother,
Walter Denney, who is recupe-
rating from a broken leg. He
is now out of the hospital and
staying in the home of a niece
just out of Bristow.
Mrs. Fred Delcour attended
the Christmas program atKelly-
ville school Monday night with
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Miller and
family.
Monday afternoon found Mrs.
Joyce Fulks and Mrs. Mae Del-
cour trying to get a big more
of their Christmas shopping done
in Tulsa.
One of our long-time residents.
Jack Dugan, is also a patient
at Bartlett Memorial Hospital
in Sapulpa after having suffered
a stroke. He is some better
at the time of this writing.
Raney, Stelphen and Timmy
Harrison of Tulsa spent Satur-
day evening in the home of their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted
Harrison, while their mother,
Mrs. R. F. Harrison assisted

The Mounds Brownie Troop
No. 339 held their regular troop
meeting on Monday. They fin-
ished their preparations for their
Christmas party where they will
exchange gifts. It will be held
on Friday December the 19th
instead of the 22nd. They made
colored birds to hang on their
tree. They assembled and de-
corated their tree in the French
fashion. After decorating their
tree the girls went to the Kof-
fee Cup cafe for hot cocoa and
cookies. They were accompanied
by Mrs. Reba Nation and Mrs.
Dorothy C reason.
The Asembly of God Church
will hold their Christmas play
"What’s Happened to Christ-
mas" on Sunday evening at the
worship hour at 7:30. The pri-
mary class will present the na-
tivity scene with the shepards
and wise men. Juanita Sivadon
Is their teacher. The play will
feature the Hl-Teen class with
Patricia Woodard teacher. The
Juniors, Junior High and youig
people make up the choir, Direc-

I have probably overlooked a few
here and there, but it is worth
while to drive around and look
at the pretty lights.
The Christmas program at the
Kiefer School will be held Mon-
day, December 22nd. The pro-
gram will begin at 8:00 p.m.
and everyone is invited to at-
tend. Of course, most all of
the students will get a preview
earlier that day, but neverthe-
less, all parents are urged to
attend.
