Much discussion took plai n at thp regular inerting of
the city commissioners Monday night when the chief sub-
ject for the evening developed around parking meter* for
this city
In view of the fact that the city can arrange to have
them installed for a six months trial, why not try them out
anti see whether they will prove a paying proposition find
not cause too much criticism for the city A.s to the fin-
ancial gain that is certain to be made by the city on the
adventure the funds can well be used by the city In the
police department as well as other departments.
They will prove of much benefit to shoppers of the
Sapulpa trade area and be of great hindrance to the clerks
of the various local stores who occupy good parking spots
throughout the day.
In analyzing the pro and con of the meters it seems as
if the majority are in favor of them and much In favor of
