Put Y our Money
Home
Money invested in a home—in the improvement and up-
keep of real estate is the wisest of wise expenditures.
f
Other investments may look attractive—but the first and
greatest investment is a home of your own.
Here lies the foundation of your future-the real insurance
against adversity-the freedom from the burden of rent paying.
A home pays dividends daily in happiness, contentment and
comfort-that know no percentage rule -income that cannot
be measured by the dollar standard.
Increased incomes, coupled with our newly acquired national habit of
thrift--finds most of us able to meet a fair sized monthly payment on
some investment.
Many long cherished possessions are within our reach--certain luxuries are
strongly tempting our dollars. Our new found wealth is apt to warp our
judgment*--we are subject to momentary intoxication of prosperity and may
make some foolhardy investment.
The test of our judgment is at hand---Let us proclaim our wisdom by put-
ting our money into a home of our own and enjoy real income from our
worth-while savings in the BANK OF BIGGER INTEREST.

A Bungalow With a Personality
f , ... ...« fc. V », «<1« •» Mi .
A bungalow which portrays strength and personality, one could not pass this
home without being favorably impressed with its appearance. This home looks
its best on a large terraced lof, backed with shrubbery and shade trees. The
large front porch, 8x40 feet, is the predominating feature of the exterior, link-
ed with the broad entrance of concrete and cobblestones. The wide dormer
window breaks the monotony of the straight roof lines.
The interior is charmingly arranged, living room and dining room is virtually
one large room, a handsome colonnade separates them; the ceilings are heavily
beamed. A broad and massive mantel from floor to ceiling, flanked with book
cases, lends an air of cheer and contentment. Two features of this home make
it particularly distinctive: one, the inglenook adjoining the lviing room, which
may be used as a music room; the other, the large pergola separated from the
inglenook by French doors. Nothing adds to comfort as does plenty of doors
and windows. This is one feature that is not overlooked in this home. A mod-
ern kitchen will lighten the housewife’s burdens, plenty of cupboards, drain
boards, cabinets, cooling closet, etc. A large screened rear porch may be util-
ized for a summer dining room. This home planned so that every inch of space
is utilized to the comfort and convenience of every member of the family.
