Tommy Reese Lawley. a
retired 'irefighter, passed away
Thursday, October 17,2013, at
the age of 65 in Tulsa.
Tommy was bom
December II, 1947, in
Tahlcquah. to Samuel Andrew
and Betty Jo (Cookson)
Lawley.
Tommy was a decorated
veteran of the United States
Army and of the Vietnam
Conflict.
Tommy is survived by his
mother Betty Jo Lawley; his
wife Charlotte Frances
(Walker) Lawley: children,
Tommy Reese Lawley. Jr. and
wife Traci, children, Tyler,
Rowdy. Abby. Reese. Marilyn
and Tommy E. and grandson
Aeden; Charles Walker
Lawley and wife Marcie, chil-
dren, Walker. Eli, Matt and
John; Kevin McCracken
Lawley and wife Shannon,
children. Kaylea and Kannon;
Kaylene Frances (Lawley)
Hale and husband Joe, chil-
dren. Garrett and Sara, three
brothers. Robert Lawley and
wife Nola. Andy Lawley and

The family would like to
acknowledge numerous
beloved nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death
by Grannie and Grandpa
Cookson and Grannie and
Grandpa Lawley.
Tommy met the love of his
life. Charlotte in 1965. When
he returned from Vietnam, the
couple married 11 days later
on March 14. 1969.
Throughout the years their
love continued to grow and
strengthen with the birth of
their children and grandchil-
dren. Their love epitomized
Mark 10:9, "What therefore
God has joined together, let no
man separate."
He enjoyed driving his trac-
tors. fishing, farming and
spending time with his family
and friends. He looked for-
ward to eating out with his
brother every Friday and
Saturday night and having
Sunday lunch at his mother's
house. He also enjoyed hunt-
ing treasures at flea markets,
attending fur and feather
swaps, and exotic animal
sales.
Tommy was always known
to have a smile on his face ar.d
to have never met a stranger.
He will be dearly missed by all
who knew him.

the faith."
Services will bt 2 p.m.
Saturday. October 26. 2013 at
the Levi Cookson Cemetery in
Tahlequah.

Jimmie Donn 'Jim' Manley
Jimmie Donn "Jim" Manley
was bom September 11, 1938
to John Manley and Minnie
Bell "Marie" Boston in Enid,
Okla. He was the second of
four children bom to Mr. and
Mrs. Manley.
Jim attended school in
Joplin. Mo., from kindergarten
until be graduated from high
school in 1956. He decided to
join the Air Force, but was
only 17 at the time of gradua-
tion so his mother, Marie, had
to sign a waiver for him. He
served four years with the Air
Force and was honorably dis-
charged.
In 1960 he returned home
to Joplin and began working.
He then met his bride-to-be
Judith Ann Mayes. After a
short courtship they were mar-
ried February 4, 1961. They
had three children. January.
Jimmie Donn. and Jerry. Jim
decided to go to school to get
his degree in accounting. In
1971 he graduated Magna
Cum Laude from Missouri
Southern University with a
bachelor's degree in account-

ing. He passed his CPA exam
and moved his family to Tulsa,
Okla.. in 1973. He began
working for a local funeral
home and started building his
CPA firm. The family settled
in Bixby. Okla., in 1976.
Jim was a hard worker, but
always had time for his family
and friends. He was an active
bass tournament fisherman
and enjoyed traveling with his
wife and kids. He was also a
licensed private pilot and
loved to fly his Cessna-182.
He was preceded in death
