heard her play at chapel one
day and because he needed u
pianist, thought she might be a
good fit.
“Believe it or not. I was not
romantically drawn to Karen.
Besides, she was dating a min-
isterial student at the time.”
said Ken. “I approached her
friend and asked if he would
mind me hiring her to play lor

"This is the reason I believe

and not take advantage of
older people. There are so
many scams out there today,
with people taking advantage

difference in their lives.
They went on to say there
were some things they could

JOHN MALEY TALKS ABOUT A TEACHER
WHO RAPED A 13 YEAR OLD STUDENT.
[Maleys quotes from December 6. 2001 Okmulgee Daily Times]
THE DEFENDANT WAS ORIGINALLY SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS!
he teacher “comes from a real good family "I tried to get a feel for the
[teacher]." “I can understand [the family's] feelings
about their 13-year-old daughter having SEXUAL
ENCOUNTERS with a 29-year-old man... I know
this CREATES PROBLEMS." “This was not a
pedophile type of contact." “It may not have been
V a sex offender' problem..." “It may well have been
an UNFORTUNATE AGE GAP'' After four months'
^49 incarceration, Maley said, "I BELIEVE THE MAN
HAS SERVED HIS DEBT TO SOCIETY." and let
John Maley ,he raP,st return home’
Is John Maley in touch with Justice?
WE DON’T THINK SOU!
13 year olds don't have “affairs”, or
"relationships" or “sexual encoun-
ters" with 29-year-old teachers. The
law calls it “RAPE" for a reason.
Maley s words provide an unfortu-
nate insight into his feelings about
sexual abuse of children. If he does
not understand THE LAW or the
effects of child abuse, how can he
administer justice? How often has
Maley missed the mark? KEN
ADAIR will faithfully uphold the law
and apply it with thoughtful consid-
eration to the requirements of
TRUTH and JUSTICE. ----
