Springs will begin meet-
ing the first and third
monday of each month
starting Feb. 19.
MOPS is for mothers
of children from birth to
five years and meets
September through May.

Floyd E. Harris
Floyd E. Harris of Sapulpa
died Sunday. Feb. 11. 2007. at
the age of 81.
Floyd was bom Feb. 11,
1926. in Mounds and had lived
in this area most all of his life.
He was the retired owner of the
Hams Laundry.
Floyd had served in the
U S. Army during the Korean
War and was a lifetime mem-
ber of the Sapulpa V.F.W. He
was a member of the Moose
Lodge in Grove.
Floyd was preceded in
death by his parents Willie
Lester and Ada Gooding
Harris and one grandson. Brad
Webb.
Survivors are his wife
Barbara Harris of Sapulpa;
children Jim Harris and wife
Connie of Kellyville, Walter
Harris and wife Kathryn of
Sapulpa. Eddie Webb and wife
Sue of Warner. Howard
Webb and wife Neva of
Depew. John Webb and wife
Rhonda of Bristow and Kaye
Wright and husband Don of

have been set for 2 p.m.
Wednesday. Feb. 14. 2007, in
the Smith Funeral Chapel with
Pastor Noah Marshall officiat-
ing. Interment will follow in
the Bristow City Cemetery.
Serving as casketbearers
will be Alien Sullins, Don
Wright Jimmy Webb. Scooter
Webb. Jerry Stephens Jr. and
Chris Bell.
Smith Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
Obituaries
Paul Junior McCain was
boro Sept I), 1920, to Albert
Forbus McCain and Annie
Alma (Moore) McCain in
Sebastin County. Jenny Land.
Aik. Paul departed his earthly
life of 86 years Friday, Feb 9,
2007.
On Sept. 12. 1942. Paul
married Bessie N. Scott in
Sapulpa. They were married
47 years and never had an
argument. Bessie passed away
in 1989.
Paul and Bessie had two
children, son Paul Gyde and
daughter Carolyn Sue. Paul
lived his adult life in Sapulpa.
He was inducted into the U.S.
Army in January 1943 and
was honorably discharged in
October 1945 as a Tec. 5
Heavy Equipment and Truck
Driver.
He served with Company A
146 Engineers in Normandy.
Northern France. Ardennes.
Rhineland and central Europe,
receiving five Bronze Stars,
the Distinguished Service
Medal and the Good Conduct
Medal.
Paul worked in the con-
struction business, the WPA,

the City of Sapulpa. Bob
Kightlinger Construction and
JH Rose Trucking. He worked
in Anchorage. Alaska, and
retired from Liberty Glass.;
He was preceded in death
by his parents: sisters Aranna
Patterson. Hazel Perrin. Allie
Plummer. Bernice Crutchfield
and Annie Ruth Axtell; broth-
ers William Tex" McCain,
Albert F. McCain Jr. and
James Carter McCain.
Paul is survived by son
Paul C. McCain of Sapulpa:
daughter Carolyn S. Warren
and husband Tom of
Kellyville; granddaughter
Stacey L. Warren of Kiefer,
grandson Corbin Warren and
wife Bobbie Jo of Scraper,
Okla.. great-grandson Corbin
Tyler" Warren of Scraper, sis-
ter Myrtle Dildine Collier of
Kellyville: brother-in-law Paul
Lee Scott of Okay. Okla.; sis-
ters-in-law Virginia Scott and
Phyllis Scott both of Tulsa:

Philip Edward Taylor, 50.
left this life for Heaven on
Wednesday. Feb. 7, 2007. Phil
was born June 24, 1956, in
Sapulpa to Robert Van Taylor
and Nellie Jane Baty Taylor.
Phil anended Sapulpa High
School.
Phil served in the United
States Air Force from 1975
until 1988 and was stationed at
bases in Oklahoma. Texas,
Mississippi. Florida. Germany
and Holland.
On Oct. 19, 19%. he mar-
ried Carla Martelle. and they
made their home in Sapulpa.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; a brother.
Daniel G. Taylor: and two
daughters. Kristi Lynn Taylor
and Ashley Michelle Taylor.
Phi) is survived by his wife.
Henry Benjamin Griffith
and many grandchildren.
Henry was a man who
touched many lives. He was a
Dad and Papa to many He
served in the military and
worked as an oilfield truck
driver.
In his free time. Henry
liked to garden, fish, hunt and
go out to eat with his family
Henry was loved by many and
will be dearly missed. We
have lost our father but gained
an angel.
Services will be held at
noon on Thursday, Feb. 15,
2007. at Green Hill Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will fol-
low at Green Hill Memorial
Gardens.
The family has chosen to
entrust the care of the service
to the directors at Green Hill
